We come to the site, talk to you about your needs, and measure the area. Then we calculate the correct amount of topsoil required to produce a great healthy lawn. We usually apply topsoil a minimum of 4 inches thick. Northern Wisconsin soils usually require added topsoil as it is usually very sandy or clay, or gravel. Grass grows best and lasts longest in rich topsoil. Topsoil also holds more needed moisture for greener healthier grass during the hot dry summer months.

We then set up delivery of the topsoil and co-ordinate that with same day finish grading and topsoil distribution by Mark's Bobcat Service. We take care of all the details for you. We are a one-stop full lawn installation service.

The topsoil is then raked smooth, ready for hydro seeding. We also install mulch or stone beds, edging, and drain tile for downspouts.

The entire process usually takes from one to two days on an average sized lawn.

We provide a Lawn Care Booklet, which covers all facets of lawn care to ensure a great long lasting lawn. Included are detailed watering instructions to get your hydro seeded lawn established quickly. The booklet is written for someone who has never owned or cared for a lawn before, in mind. It details mower blade height, fertilizing instructions and what type of fertilizer to use, when to apply and much more. You'll be looking like a lawn pro right from the start.
